FUNDRAISE FOR EVERYONE CAN

2 Brothers gaming together

Are you planning on doing a fundraiser and looking for a charity to support? Please consider Everyone Can. We’re a very small charity so anyone fundraising on our behalf could make a HUGE difference!

Here’s our 5-step guide to supporting us and helping disabled people through the power of gaming!

Step 1 -Choose your event

Make it personal or join the team

You may already have an event in mind or you may be searching for an idea.

Here are just a few ideas of how you can fundraise for us on your own, with your colleagues or with your friends:

  • Sponsored runs
  • Sponsored walks
  • Bike rides
  • Dress down day in work
  • Cake sale
  • Quiz nights
  • Gaming marathon
  • Football tournament
  • Music nights

And those are just to name a few!!

Alternatively, you may wish to join and take part in one of our annual events.

GAME TOGETHER

Game Together is our annual fundraiser in September that seriously puts the FUN in fundraiser! If you love gaming then this is the fundraiser for you. It is a weekend dedicated to gaming and raising funds to help disabled people game together.

Game Together is ideal for people who stream content, who can reach out to their on-line communities to help raise money for a cause that will be close to their hearts.

Joining Game Together is like joining one big family as with Everyone Can staff happy to drop into stream to say “Hi” and talk about the work we do and the cause you are supporting.

SPACE INVASION

INVADE A SPACE, PLAY GAMES & HELP DISABLED GAMERS!
So, what is Space Invasion I hear you ask? To put it simply, Space Invasion is a day to invade a space, in order to play games and raise money so that disabled people can also enjoy playing games!

The space is up to you. It may be a space at work or at school, where passers by can stop and play and donate. Maybe the highest score on the day can win a prize, or just bragging rights. You could even go ‘old school’ and dig out the board games.

Step 2 – Get others involved

Depending on the event, you may wish to get others involved too. If you’re running a race, why not ask around and see if others would like to join in. They could also raise money and help make an even greater difference to disabled people’s lives!

Step 3 – Choose how you collect your donations

You could go down the traditional route and collect sponsors on a sponsorship form or you could use the many online tools that are designed to help do this for you. A popular website is Just Giving and our Just Giving page is here Click on the Fundraise for Us button and follow the instructions. They even support Gift Aid so that each donation can go even further. There is also a Donate button in case you have collected cash.

Step 4 – Let people know about your event and why you are doing it

People may not have heard of our charity and the work that we do. To help with this, we have made videos and have logos and pictures that you can use in emails when asking for donations.

You can find all our helpful media and resources here… HERE.

Let us know what you intend to do and when and we will shout about it too.
